This is the first Christmas Jackson really started to understand the occasion. While he enjoyed ripping of the wrapping paper and playing with all his new toys, the experience was still overwhelming at times. To keep things under control, we let him open some gifts on Christmas Eve, but saved the stockings and the rest of the gifts for Christmas morning.
Although we weren't able to spend the holidays with the Netts, we did communicate via webcam. Jackson and Emma each opened a few presents on camera, including this puzzle from Grandma and Grandpa. (Yay for technology!)
Santa brought Jackson dinosaurs. The "baby di-saurs" are his friends.
Nana and Papa got trikes for him and Nesta. He tried giving Nesta a hug while Nesta was riding, but as is often the case, his affection was not reciprocated.
