Anymore

Lately, Jackson has been telling us that he can't do things "anymore." For example, he "can't go to Aunty's house anymore" because he'd rather stay home or visit Papa at his office. Or he "can't sleep in Kela bed anymore" because the big bed is just so much more comfortable. His proper usage of the adverb is very cute, but sometimes it breaks your heart. One morning after Howard played a late-night gig, Jackson said "Daddy, you can't go sing anymore." And after I returned from a out-of-town trip for work, he told me, "Mommy, you can't go airport anymore." Aw!
