Jackson is another month closer to 2 today. His communication skills improve each day, and he's getting more independent. Some other highlights:
- Grapes are a frequent snack, though he calls them and every other fruit besides banana "apple"
- The word "no" has finally become a regular part of his vocabulary, and he's learned to say a few numbers, notably 2 and 5
- Likes to draw with (and occasionally snack on) his crayons; his train, trucks and blocks continue to be favorite toys
- Has a new friend at daycare to chase around
