Happy Easter

Last Easter, we figured Jackson was too young to understand or appreciate Easter. This year, though, he received his first Easter basket, which Nana filled with sippy cups, a blow-up toy for the pool, and bubbles. Howard and I gave him some board books, a stuffed bunny, and a new toothbrush. He also received chocolate from Aunty Mo and Nesta, and Aunty Laura and Emma sent him a LeapPad, t-shirts, and two balls. What a lucky kid!

Nana organized an egg hunt in their backyard. We were concerned that Jackson and Nesta would get run over by bigger kids at a community egg hunt, so this was a great alternative.

Nana filled the eggs with cookies, but Nesta and Cinnamon ate all of his cookies.

It took a little while for him to get the gist of this activity. But he eventually figured out to put the eggs into his pail.

Next year, we'll attempt coloring eggs!
