20 Months Old

Macy has reached 20 months old!  Based on a recommendation from the pediatrician, Macy was evaluated by Early Intervention.  In particular, we were concerned about her speech.  It turns out that although she's not as chatty as her brother was at this age, her overall development is right on track, and both her social and fine motor skills are excellent.  Other updates:
  • She just keeps growing!  She's moved into 2T in some brands.
  • She went to the dentist for the first time... and didn't shed a tear.  She is not a fan of Howard or I brushing her teeth, but she behaved well for a professional.  And another tooth is coming in to fill one of the gaps in the bottom of her mouth.
  • She is champion danger seeker.  Her new trick is climbing on to the dining table.  She also likes to run down the street and sneak (barefoot!) to the side of the house that is covered by rocks.
  • She's starting to enjoy puzzles.
  • She dances to Howard's music and along with her brother to the opening sequences of his dinosaur shows.
I haven't blogged about our adventures this month, but we've been out and about.  Take a look!
