We went to the beach twice over this three-day weekend. Although we'd taken Macy a few times before, she'd never made it out of her stroller. This time she got to experience sand, which she immediately tried to eat. I attempted to distract her with toys and my water bottle, but she was eager to get off the towel.
With help from Howard and Papa, Macy also dipped her toes in the water for the first (and second) time.
Jackson dug holes, looked for fish and crabs, buried himself in the sand and jumped in the surf.
