Jackson graduated from preschool this week. We are so proud of him, especially because when his class first started rehearsing, he had no interest in participating in the ceremony. He went limp on the stage and refused to move! However, after a few more practice sessions (and the prospect of celebratory cake), he worked up the courage to do it. The morning of graduation he told us "I promise not to flop on the ground," and he stayed true to his word. He sang with enthusiasm, walked up to receive his diploma and smile for the camera when his name was called, and even sat quietly while his classmates took their turns.
Macy was lucky to have Papa keep her company during the ceremony, as it was not much fun for her to sit still and watch.
Jackson received candy leis and a balloon, which Nesta was eager to give him. The boys also enjoyed some yummy cake.
