Pair #1 is unusual. It is still with us, waiting on the back patio for Macy to try out. And sorry to ruin the suspense, but Pair #6 is actually safe and sound, too.
Pair #2 was lost on Nana and Papa's watch. But it happened while I was in the hospital delivering Macy, so a certain amount of chaos was to be expected.
Pair #3 featured Mickey Mouse and accompanied us to Disneyland. It also vanished. To say that I freak out about losing things would be an understatement. Howard spent close to an hour one night driving around our neighborhood looking for them out of fear of his irrational wife.
Pair #4 helped Jackson transition to preschool. From three daily trips to the playground, it took a beating in a short amount of time. The shoes were probably relieved that Jackson chucked one out of the car window somewhere in the vicinity of Macy's babysitter and put them out of their misery.
And then there's Pair #5, Jackson footwear of choice Saturday while we ran typical weekend errands. It was late in the day, and the kids were cranky. All we had left to do before heading home was return a movie to the grocery store. But Jackson needed to use the bathroom, so as Howard unbuckled him to take him in the store, we realized that half of Pair #5 was missing. We determined it must've been lost at our previous stop, Costco. We headed back there, where thankfully, the rogue shoe was quickly located... under the TIRE of the car that had taken our parking spot. After waiting for the car's owner to return (which was tons of fun with cranky kids and a frustrated mom), Howard was able to save the shoe. And the shoe survived!
Yay for unfashionable, yet indestructible, plastic shoes!

Ok, seriously....you don't want to know how many Crocs are in this house. LOL If he needs more, tell me what sizes and when they do another warehouse sale, I will get him a bunch.
