3 Years

I stopped doing monthly updates when Jackson was about 2.5, but I thought I'd do one in honor of him turning 3. Not only did he experience a major life change in the form of his baby sister, he developed quite a bit during the last six months.

• Weight: 27.5 lbs; height: 37 inches. He's still average height and skinny.
• Wears 2T shirts, 24mo pants and a size 7 shoe.
• Is potty trained during the day and almost ready to give up diapers at night.
• Still loves dinosaurs.
• Likes TV and movies (a little too much), especially any show featuring a dinosaur. He enjoys acting out what he watches with his toys.
  
• Eats a wide variety of foods, even vegetables, when he's in the right mood, but always requests candy and chocolate. Besides sweets, his favorite foods are pancakes, sausage, blueberries and cheese.
  
• Is cautious climbing playground equipment and doing other physical activities, but loves the swings.
• Likes to talk and tell stories, but not sing or dance. We're still waiting for his musical genes to appear.
