29 Months

Jackson is another month older today. Here's a taste of what he's been doing and saying lately.

• Many things are "scary," including monsters, big fish at the farmer's market and crocodiles. He likes scary things, but more than that he likes to tell us that they are scary.
• He has begun saying the magic phrase "I love you" with great frequency. Not ony does he tell mommy and daddy how much he loves them, but he also adores sausage and other favorite foods.
• He's learning more of his letters and colors, including blue, orange and green.
• He enjoys visiting the pet store. It's a mediocre substitute for the zoo, but at least he gets to see animals.
• Lychee, also known as dinosaur bones, is a current treat.
