28 Months

It's time for another monthly update! This picture is from a couple of days before Easter when Jackson and Nesta were enjoying the heavy rain. Who knew a gutter could be so much fun? Both boys were also eager to go splashing in Papa and Nana's flooded backyard.

Here are some other changes:

• Jackson finally grew. He's now wearing 2T shirts and officially fits 24month pants and shorts. He's also transitioned up a size in his Crocs, though those are still a little loose.
• He's finally mastered opening door handles. He also climbs the shelves in the pantry in search of cookies, but gets stuck and needs our assistance coming back down.
• When something is exciting, it's "waffle time" or "bubble time" or "baseball time." If he's really fired up, he'll even do a dance, which is basically a gallop or unbalanced hop.
• The dinosaur obsession continues. He calls oatmeal "dinosaur dirt" and talks to us all the time about dinosaurs eating bones and hatching out of eggs.
• He loves chocolate.
