Jackson is a great traveler. Our trip to San Francisco was the second time he flew on an airplane. He loves seeing the airplanes fly over our house, so we thought he might enjoy flying as well. He liked watching all the activity at the airport, but he wasn't too thrilled about being confined while on the plane for five hours. He behaved himself for the most part, though he wasn't sure what to make of the suitcases at first.
We stayed right on Union Square at the Westin St. Francis. Jackson adjusted quickly to his new surroundings and got a kick out of running down the hall to Papa's room. He and Nesta definitely had fun staying in a hotel.

We took in many of the standard tourist activities. We visited the sea lions at Pier 39, where Jackson tried to imitate their barking sounds. He loved riding the cable car, and for the remainder of our trip, he'd call out "car, car" every time he saw one.

Jackson even tolerated all the shopping, but that's probably because he found alternative ways to entertain himself.

He seems to really have a thing for transportation because he also liked riding the BART train to the A's game. Jackson didn't watch much baseball, but he clapped and cheered whenever the crowd did.
